The passengers were on the alert now. For the next few moments, the jet flew smoothly and everyone began to relax. The jet quivered again and just as fast, the quiver turned into a violent shudder. Everyone could hear the sudden silence of one of the engines. The jet pitched to the right, and started dipping towards earth. The woman across from Renee grabbed her forearm and screamed. As the jet spiraled downwards towards earth, everyone began screaming.
