The four books offered here are the first of many that will address the research needs of students at every level, from early proficient readers to confident investigators.Watts Reference books serve many different needs for different readers. Some of these books are apprentice vehicles for the youngest researchers. They offer a wealth of information and promote contextual reading for sense. Just as important, they also teach kids how a reference source is laid out, with a standard presentation, an index, and a glossary. Such books, appropriate for these purposes in the education of early elementary readers, will continue to hold an appeal for many older children.
