Overview

Two scientists, Greg and Karen, film the nesting habits of emperor penguins in Antarctica. They observe how the parents are able to recognise each other's call among the hundreds of penguins in the rookery, and how they take turns caring for the egg while the other partner goes feeding for about two months.
