Satan thought he had won. He had used the Roman government to crucify Jesus on the cruel cross. He had killed the very Son of God. His lifeless body was laid in a tomb and sealed. On the third day, he began to breathe. His heart began to beat. He had shed his blood on the cross as the Lamb. Jesus now is risen from the dead and emerges from the tomb as the victorious roaring Lion. His death and resurrection defeated Satan, sin, and death. Glory to God! He is risen. He claims total victory. He is not only the Lamb but also the Lion of Judah!
