Overview
UNITY is the story of a woman on a journey of discovery. She travels around the globe in search of a clear understanding of the major problems of the world, hoping to find solutions to many of them. In her explorations she comes face to face with the trials and travails of those living on the physical edge of existence, and clearly sees potential catastrophe for the Earth. Equally clearly, she sees ways to change things for the better. She tries to share her visions with her fellow human being, but will they listen to her message? Will you? The people of the United States of America have little understanding of the profound influence our nation has on the rest of the world or how we fit into it. It is critically important that we gain some understanding of what it is really like to live in the underdeveloped parts of the world and how we, as a nation, are perceived by many of those living there. I hope this story can contribute to this understanding. Finally, and most importantly, we must find some way to develop more rational mechanisms by which the nations of the world interact with one another. This is the great challenge of the 21st century! Our survival depends on it.
