Dr. Taylor, our Master, recently offered to the Council of the Senate the sum of two hundred pounds to be applied to the increase of the stipend of Dr. Schiller-Szinessy, as Reader in Talmudic, during the present and ensuing three years, in recognition of the great value of his researches.
