Many of the specimens of this variety are exquisitely beautiful, from the rich clothing of silky hairs quite concealing the pinnae, and some are so erect and cylindrical and hairy as to resemble in miniature some of the Cactuses of the group of Cereus senilis.?Var. 7, cinnamomea.
