Joy Chapters is a series for students who still need support in reading, but no longer relate to small picture books. The series offers a wide range of genres: Mythological fiction, historical fiction, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, drama, and suspense. Longer stories are divided into chapters to help young readers sustain interest, and age-appropriate pictures support the text.

Three levels in all--Red, Green, and Purple, with 10 titles at each level--provide accessible text for young readers. Red level titles are 500-600 words; Green Level titles are 800-1,200 words; and Purple Level titles are 2,000-3,000 words.
