A study of the implementation of Cisco Secure Intrusion Detection Systems. Based on officially developed course materials from Cisco Systems, it presents configuration techniques and security management details. The author is a member of the Security Technologies Assessment Team at Cisco and has developed several modules for the CSIDS product. The volume can be used as training material for the Cisco security specialization certification.
