Overview
The unifying theme of the CD-ROM is to follow several different students on study-abroad experiences across the Spanish-speaking world. The activities for each lesson incorporate vocabulary and grammatical concepts from that lesson with the particular country studied used as a backdrop. Each lesson is aimed at the functional use of vocabulary and grammatical concepts as the language learner helps solve the fictitious students´ problems or face the challenges presented to students studying abroad. Each premise is setup by a short narrative describing the situation. Specific exercises within each lesson employ the topics from that lesson and are related to the overall function of that particular lesson.
