Reasonable Doubt is about a respectable doctor of forensic science who comes home to find his wife has been brutally murdered, and all the evidence points to him as her killer. After a speedy trial, he is sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility of parole. After collecting evidence against the warden, he uses it to obtain the help of a news reporter and private investigator. After the doctor escapes, they set out on a quest to prove his innocence while trying to stay one step ahead of a famous Texas ranger known for always getting his man.
