How would you like to be trapped in a poacher's cage, like Jack and Riley were, and then rescued by termites?

This is just one of the adventures the brother/sister duo encounter during their winter holiday in the Costa Rican rainforest.

- Ponder, the sloth, tells them a wonderful tale about the toucan's colourful feathers.

- Riley and Jack save dozens of turtle hatchlings in a bucket.

- Two Indigenous women teach them how to make chocolate in the forest.

- Ponder introduces Jack and Riley to many of his rainforest friends: Maxwell the monkey, Smyle the crocodile, Stan the pelican, Teresa the termite, and Iggy the iguana, to name just a few.

Through their adventures, Riley and Jack learn to respect and value the natural environment and all the wonderful creatures who inhabit it. They gain a new appreciation for kindness, helpfulness and friendship, all the while experiencing new and exciting things. And having lots of fun!
