Overview
Terri is the owner of K-Nine Treats, where she sells fresh-baked, healthy dog treats and custom-made doggy coats and sweaters. She also volunteers to care for rescued puppies until they can be placed in good homes. Carter admires Terri's volunteer work, and after helping her rescue some puppies from a fire, the two find themselves in a budding relationship. Unknown to Terri, however, is Carter's part ownership of the mall where K-Nine Treats is located. And when Carter learns of his company's plans to evict Terri, he is at odds at what to do. Terri is distraught to find out the truth about Carter, and faced with eviction, she believes he is to blame for her situation. She can no longer trust him and the fragile bond between them is broken. Their dogs get along so well, but after what has happened, how could there ever be a future for them together?
