But teenage life in a small, industrial town eighty miles west of the Kings Road is a far cry from the Swinging 60s of tv, newsreels and magazines. The Locarno Ballroom isn't the Marquee Club, Tommy Storm and the Thunders can't hold a candle to Gerry and the Pacemakers, and the fashion isn't quite Carnaby Street. The coffee in El Morocco id definitely less frothy than the 2is.

But sometimes it all gets.
