Childhood friends Arrin and Keira have a bond unlike any other in the kingdom of Aamora. The Aamoran people see vivid and magnificent lands in their sleep-everyone, that is, except for Keira. She is the king's daughter and has only experienced the dreamscape secondhand through Arrin's retelling of his dreams. Their love for each other runs deeper than the average friendship, but little do they know it's about to be put to the test.

A dark power torches Aamora one night and leaves with Keira in its arms and no trail to follow. The next day, Arrin sets out on a mission to find her. Seeking the help of oracles, maps, and kings, he travels the terrestrial world and even jumps to lands only thought to exist in dreams in search of the most important person in his world. Traversing the powers of light and dark, good and evil, and fantasies and nightmares, Arrin's is a quest of courage, resilience, and unyielding love that surpasses simple romance.
