2nd Grade Homeschool Science Curriculum

Interactive Science: Grade 2 is a program geared toward children who learn by doing. As such, it includes plenty of lesson plan ideas that will get your child engaged in the learning process.

Using a comprehensive workbook with labs and exercises, your child will come to understand Science. Of course, the lessons that lead to such knowledge are sure to be engaging and exciting, helping your child develop a love for the subject.

By the end of the curriculum, your child should be able to:

• Use experimentation to find answers to science-related questions.
• Gather data throughout an experiment.
• Discover why plants and animals can only thrive in certain environments.
• Use drawing and modeling to create a tool that will help solve problems.

Your child will accomplish these and other goals by using the materials included in the Interactive Science: Grade 2 program, and through your instruction.
