Through trial, error and the wisdom that only experience can tender, Embi matures into an example of strength and independence of thought and ability. Understanding and forgiveness amends her story with a modest crown of peace. The hidden parable of Harbors story calmly intertwines grave issues with melancholy, humor and their effects on the lives of its haunting characters.
