Guided Reading cards are available for each of the six stages in the Songbirds Phonics series, with one card for each of the six titles in each stage pack. Each card includes a list of the Teaching Objectives phonics in the book. Suggestions to the teacher for each Guided Reading session include an introduction for the story, the focus for reading and a strategy check. There are also notes on assessment and additional activities.
