After its inception in 1967, Genesis went from being a pioneer in progressive music in the 1970s to a powerhouse of worldwide hits in the 1980s. And in spite of the many changes in both the group’s composition and musical direction throughout the years, the group’s spirit has remained unchanged. This book is a long conversation whereby the protagonists tell their own story. All the musicians that have ever been a part of Genesis contribute to this story, as well as the group’s main collaborators, such as their manager Tony Smith.
