Overview
This is the first set of non-fiction books within the fuzzbuzz scheme. Each book looks in detail at four British animals within a habitat - the house, farm, garden, sea-shore, dump and pond. The books use the controlled vocabulary of existing books at Levels 1 and 2, and extra vocabulary is taught through an accompanying workbook, "Words for Fuzzbuzz Facts". "Fuzzbuzz Facts" provides a useful and effective introduction to non-fiction for children using the fuzzbuzz scheme. Each book has a contents and an index page, and additional teaching of the skills necessary for using information books is provided by a further workbook, "Looking at Books".
