I hope this book will be of help to you when sorting out handicap races, a thing to note is when you see a 3yo win a race against its own age group and then entered in a race against its elders it is almost certain to be racing off a lower mark or the same mark it had already won off, also look for 4yo horses early in the season as they also receive a weight allowance. You can also see when a horse is improving by its handicap mark and its ability by checking what the top rated horse in the race was, it's speed slow or fast, another thing to note is the owner trainers who produce quite a few winners over the season.
