English summary: The playing of music, which have been depicted over the course of 2500 year old ceramic and bronze vessels or were represented as small statues are mute evidence of ancient music. Lyres, pan pipes or auloi in their hands provides as important basis in order to study the musical culture of the older Iron Age in Central Europe. How the music of the Hallstatt period (ca. 800-500 BCE) actually sounded was not transmitted. The goal of musical archaeology is make this music "hearable" again. Representations of ancient instruments and comparisons with still existing archaic instruments, whose tones and scales are known, help the attempt to create this musical revival. The Cantlon Ensemble revives the musical world of the Hallstatt period music as a charming and pleasurable trip through time. The musicians Albin Paulus, Nadege Lucet, Niki Fliri and Pat Feldner, together with guest-musician Beate M. Pomberger play lyre, horn-, pan-, bone and vessel-pipes, harp, jaw's harp and different types of rattles, which correspond to traditional archaic musical instruments. The sounds and music, which have their cultural roots in current context, provide an artistic imagination of the last of the prehistoric periods. The acoustic experience of the "CD SITULARIA - Klange aus der Hallstattzeit" is complemented by a booklet which provides an overview on Iron Age music. The text is based on scholarly research and includes numerous illustrations. German description: Musizierende, die auf uber 2.500 Jahre alten Ton- und Bronzegefassen abgebildet oder als kleine Statuetten dargestellt sind, sind stumme Zeugen antiker Musik. Leiern, Panfloten oder Auloi in ihren Handen sind wichtige Basis, um die Musikkultur der alteren Eisenzeit in Mitteleuropa zu erforschen. Wie die Musik der Hallstattzeit (ca. 800-500 v. Chr.) tatsachlich klang, ist nicht uberliefert. Sie wieder "horbar" zu machen, ist Ziel der Musikarchaologie. Das Ensemble Cantlon lasst die Musikwelt der Hallstattzeit als charmant-vergnugliche Zeitreise auferstehen. Pomberger spielen Leier, Hornpfeife, Panflote, Knochen- und Gefassflote, Bass-Winkelharfe, Maultrommel und verschiedene Rasselinstrumente, die archaischen antiken und traditionellen Vorbildern entsprechen.
