The contributors to the year 2002 edition include regional security experts from the U.S. Army War College, the Rand Corporation, National Defense University, the Carnegie Endowment, the Jamestown Foundation, the Geneva Center for Security Policy, Clingendael (the Dutch Institute of International Affairs), the George C.
