Jack, once reminded that Robinson Crusoe had neither carpets nor curtains in his desert island, and that this was to be our desert island till a ship came and took us away, was quite satisfied with his quarters, and in no hurry for the ship. With Lai Roy for our man Friday the analogy was complete.
