Regan is convinced her friend needs her and heads to Los Angeles for a week to investigate. But what Regan learns is that Abigail, her boyfriend, and several other seemingly benign characters are definitely on the wrong side of the law. As she races from Malibu, to the newly renovated areas of downtown L.A. and to the mountains north of the city, Regan begins to realize that she's now front-and-center in a con game that could finish her off.
