This revision is nearly a new book yet it retains the accuracy, mathematical precision, and rigor appropriate that it is known for. Chapters 7 and 8 on transcendental functions from the previous edition have been eliminated, and are now integrated fully into Chapters 1-6. Calculus II now has a new focus on differential equations, anchored by a new Chapter 8.
