In this third edition, Hannah Levenson provides the history and theoretical basis of time-limited dynamic psychotherapy (TLDP). In the years since the earlier editions, new research findings, including process-outcome studies, have affirmed the effectiveness of this treatment, while also detailing the process by which alliance ruptures are repaired in TLDP.
