Constance Moore is on a mission to fulfill her promise to a former student. She must find her illustrious stepmother to get the promised signed photo for the critically ill child. While on this mission, Connie literally bumps into Nicholas Manning, putting her into the sights of Nicholas and his young son Nathan. Her stepmother, Angelica, knowing of her fetish to keep promises, uses that knowledge to coerce her into agreeing to look after Nicholas's son.
