Love's Story

Love's Story, the final volume of Ajit Sripad Rao Nalkur's trilogy on love, highlights his vision and realisation of true love on Earth. The poems in this volume were written over a period of twenty years while Nalkur was living and working in Australia and the United States and after he returned to his birth country, India.

This volume is divided into three parts. The Vision contains poems he began to write in Australia in the early 1990s and takes a narrative form, with much of the work appearing in prose. It offers the poet's visionary experience of love Part two, entitled Love on Earth, addresses the realisation and actualisation of that love. The third and final part of the book, Poet's Corner, contains verse on the art of poetry.

Love's Story explores true love in all its aspects and considers the realisation of a dream of such a love on Earth.
