The website immerses students in the past and present Spanish cultures while exploring the diverse groups in the Spanish-speaking world. The accompanying site includes access to vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading and cultural activities, audio materials to help students practice listening skills, and downloadable hand-outs.

The new edition of Portales Comunidad Y Cultura maintains the pedagogy and concepts of previous editions while including new features such as:
