Employing student-related examples for ease of learning and one-on-one engagement with the material, this study includes stories of the experiences of the field's key theorists. It presents the complementary, rather than the opposing, nature of divergent approaches so that the student may learn not only the theories, but also how different aspects of a single field come together.
