Morrissey released 11 singles during this time, one of which - 1994s "Interlude" - was a duet with English singer Siouxsie Sioux. Of these singles only two broke the UK Top 20 - "The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" (1994), which reached number eight in the UK and number 46 on Billboard magazines Hot 100, and "Alma Matters," which reached number 16.
