Patricia Cleveland-Peck is an established freelance garden writer. She has contributed to the English Garden, Garden, Gardens Illustrated, History Today, Hortus, and many other publications. Her travels have taken her to the historic gardens of Europe, jungles of Borneo, temple gardens in Japan, and on a botanical safari in Kenya. Elisabeth Dowle is the illustrator of a number of botanical books, including Fuchsias and Violas and Violettas.
