Life can be hard when you have all your needs and wants met. Imagine being an inner-city student without the basic necessities such as love, attention, support, money, transportation, food, housing, and/or parent(s)-all before the age of 10, while still expected to be a productive student.I wrote this book as a call to action. For whom? To all educators, college students, community members, and corporations.
