Introduces students to the concepts and terminology used in the computer networking field. Students focus on workgroup systems and learn about popular network configurations. This curriculum, developed jointly by South-Western and Novell, Inc., prepare students for certification in using and supporting Novell netware. Students will be prepared to take the Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) exam. Novell certification programs define the industry recognized standard of competence and help schools meet the demand for skilled network employees. The CNA Curriculum consists of three texts--Desktop System Software and Hardware for NetWare Users, Introduction to Networking, and NetWare 4 Administration.
