Berlin-based photographer Andrzej Steinbach's (born 1983) Der Apparat (The Apparatus) shows a photographer taking photographs. We follow all the steps in the process: how she assesses her subject, how the camera behaves in relation to the body. The session is recorded in a laboratory situation.
