My childhood was difficult, so I dreamed a lot. When I became an adult, I wanted an exciting life. I married at 19 and gave birth to 4 children. Busy but restless, I enrolled in college very pregnant with my 4th child. I simply wanted to know more, and with my husband's cooperation, succeeded in getting my Masters' Degree.Luckily, I was very organized and had a high energy level. I taught history for 28 demanding but exciting years. I loved teaching, and it put me and my children on the same hours. They all attended the same high school where I taught. My children pursued their own activities, but they all knew they were expected to go to college. This they did.As my children were off to… college, the house seemed empty and too quiet. Now what? When the Ninety-Nines, an international organization came to Ann Arbor, Michigan, they offered 10 free lessons to females interested. I signed up and was hooked. The airport became my second home and I flew 18 years or so all over the United States and Canada, including Alaska to the Northwest and Nova Scotia to the Northeast and many areas in between. While flying my own plane and flying commercially, I have visited all of the continents but one.No longer teaching, no longer flying, I started writing and have published two books recently. Now what? I am still restless.
