Cain von Silford's investigation into Marquis Corgino overseeing the kidnapping of children hit a dead end, leaving him time to play matchmaker between his dear older brother Alfred and Lerine von Legant, as well as continue to build up his city, Drientl. Now, the king has tasked him with accompanying other young nobles from the Royal Academy to the Federation of Irsten for training. Their journey has several scheduled stops, including Telenza, which is governed by Corgino. Can Cain pick up the trail and prove Corgino's guilt, or will the Marquis outsmart him once again?
